-spray your clay slab &/or dip your cutter in water
(or)
-dust the clay slab with cornstarch
-leave your clay slab in the freezer for 10 minutes prior to cutting
-try alternate thicknesses for your clay
-use plastic wrap as a barrier between clay & cutter for a different look
